What are the benefits to have full access with your PLDT HOME WIFI router?

There are lot of things you can do on your router’s admin page. Having a full access with your PLDT WIFI router, you can do many things like the following:

  • Check router’s internet status and network activities.
  • Changing your SSID (WIFI name) and WIFI password.
  • Bandwidth control for each connected devices.
  • Device access restrictions.
  • Control children’s time spent online (Parent Control).
  • Route an IP address and port number to network requests to specific devices (Port forwarding).

How to access the admin page:

For PLDT myDSL, Fibr, and Home Bro Routers, you can access the admin page by typing the default router IP (192.168.1.1) from any internet browser in your device. Enter the admin’s Username and password for your router.

  • PLDT myDSL Admin Account

Username: adminpldt
Password: 1234567890 or 0123456789

Or

Username: admin
Password: 1234

  • Fibr and Home Bro accounts

Username: telecomadmin
Password: admintelecom

Or

Username: admin
Password: admin or 1234 or 1234567890

For PLDT Home Bro Ultera Routers, go to  https://192.168.15.1 and use the default credentials below.

Username: homebro
Password: homebro

Or

Username: homeultera
Password: homeultera

Or

Username: voip

Password: 1234

If you can’t access the admin page using the default IP address, you can use the “Command Prompt” in your PC to get the admin page IP address.

Here’s the step-by-step procedure:

  1. In windows PC, open “Command Prompt” app or press Windows + R on your keyboard, then type “cmd” and hit enter.
  2. You’ll see a black screen (command prompt), type “ipconfig /all” then hit enter.
  3. Below, I’m connected via WIFI, so I should be seeing my WIFI adapter name and under that is the admin page IP address.

  4. Go back to your browser and enter the “Default Gateway” IP address and hit Enter.
  5. You must be able to see the login page now, use the PLDT credential above to access the admin page.

If the credentials above does not work, you can try the hard reset for your router and try the credentials again. Or you can always call PLDT hotline for further assistance.
