Make sure to do this in your mobile phone while connected via Smart data network. Turn off your WiFi from your device first or else this will not work.

Please follow the steps below on how to register for Smart Direct Billing:

  1. Tap the Play Store from your mobile device and click on “My Account
  2. Enable “Smart Communications Billing” Under payment methods.
  3. Please wait for Google to verify your account and your Smart number to be validated.
  4. Enter your billing address, make sure it’s all correct and click “Save” to proceed.
  5. That’s all, you’ll be now charged directly via load when you purchase any app from Google Play Store.

Here’s how to buy apps from Google Play using your Smart load:

  1. Go to Google Play Store and search the app that you want to purchase.
  2. Tap on “Buy” to purchase the app. The amount will be automatically deducted from your Smart load.
  3. Please enter your Google Password and click “Confirm” to finish.
  4. You’ll be receiving an SMS once the purchase is successful.

Note: Please wait for 30 minutes if you did not receive an SMS after purchase.

Most of the time, you’ll receive the SMS within 2 minutes.
